Volunteer and earn more
The success of our sale is due largely to the efforts of our volunteer workers. We have a lot of fun at Take2 and we hope you can join us as a Volunteer.
Our volunteer workers receive one pre sale shoppers pass that allows them to shop before the consignors and the general public at the beginning of the sale and on ½ price day. Volunteer duties may include :consignor check in, shopper check out, tending to the sales floor, assisting shoppers, consignor pick up, rack take down,pack up unsold items ans tear down sales floor at the end of the sale. No one is asked to do any duties they aren’t comfortable doing.
Consignors that volunteer 4 or more hours will receive 75% on their sold items. Volunteer 12 hours and receive 75% and get to shop first.
If you are already registered to consign at the upcoming sale and want to volunteer 4 hours log in to your account and select your volunteer time. Our system allows you to only select 4 hours so if you want to volunteer 12 hours your need to email Julie@take2.com and let her know the hours your are available to volunteer.
If you are not a consignor and you want to volunteer you need to contact Julie@Take2.com. You will send Julie a $25 check to be held until your volunteer obligation of a minimum 4 hour work shift is complete. Your uncashed check will be returned to you when you leave after your volunteer shift is over. Should you not complete your obligation, your check will be cashed.
Volunteer No Show Policy
If you are unable to work your volunteer shift we ask that you find and replacement to fill it for you. Consignor volunteers that do not show for their selected time will receive 50% of their sale proceeds sold during the event. We understand emergencies will happen and will treat them on a case by case basis. You can contact us at the emergency number 402-321-7260.
